Mike Drassler and Neil Jones, both full-time musicians based in Nashville, TN, shared a deep passion for the steel guitar that led them to found the Nashville Steel Guitar Social Club (NSGSC). United by their love for this unique instrument, they envisioned a welcoming space where players and listeners could come together to exchange ideas, share their knowledge, and foster a greater appreciation for the steel guitar.
With their combined expertise and dedication, Mike and Neil sought to create a community that celebrated the distinctive sound and rich history of the steel guitar, aiming to connect like-minded individuals who were drawn to its melodic allure. Through NSGSC, the founders aimed to elevate the instrument's presence and legacy, making it more accessible and cherished among music enthusiasts.
